Argenta Community Development Corporation's NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership
Center offers FREE monthly homebuyer education classes
to anyone who needs a homebuyer education training certificate for their
approved loan or and for all who want to know more about purchasing a
home. Taught by HUD-certified homebuyer counselors and industry professionals,
the classes include topics about budgeting, managing credit, the mortgage
loan process, foreclosure prevention and more. Participants are given
a variety of timely resources to take home. A continental breakfast and

Argenta Community Development Corporation presents Creating
and Sustaining Financial Health, a free 5-week financial
literacy program open to the public. Topics will include Basic Financial
Planning and Money Management, Saving and Investing, Banks
and Other Financial Institutions, Credit: Your New Best Friend
Forever and Taxes and Insurance. Along with a wide range
of relevant and timely resource materials, the class will feature representatives
from different industries including Smith Barney, the Federal Reserve
Bank, Regions Bank, SEI Wealth Management, the Internal Revenue Services
and more. Seating is limited and registration is required. For more information,
