It's hard to believe. This year Argenta CDC marked 18 years of transforming the landscape of downtown North Little Rock and surrounding areas and helping families in numerous ways. We do this in partnership with government, nonprofit organizations, businesses and individuals like you. Over the years, these partnerships have allowed us to:

  • Increase affordable homeownership in Central Arkansas through rehabilitation and new construction
  • Provide home ownership counseling and education services to thousands of Arkansans
  • Revitalize fragile neighborhoods into stable vibrant communities that attract diverse backgrounds and incomes and businesses
  • Offer opportunities for moderate income families to build income, residential, academic and employability assets
  • Provide opportunities for budding entrepreneurs to kick start their businesses
  • Work closely with parents who are committed to building a better future for themselves and their children
  • Spur the return, growth and creation of commercial and other development opportunities in downtown North Little Rock
  • Improve the real estate climate in targeted neighborhoods by increasing property values and creating investment and reinvestment opportunities
  • Provide opportunities for higher education learning opportunities
  • Increase the city's tax base, creating less demand on individual taxpayers while increasing government revenues
  • Provide avenues for youth to get involved in changing their communities, enhance academics
  • Offer healthy food options and increase health awareness through an urban farm

Like many nonprofits, we are faced with declining donations from all sources. Those once historically reliable and sizable gifts from the public and private sectors and individuals are not as prevalent as they once were. We need your assistance! We need your tax-deductible donation to help us continue our 18 year-old mission of changing lives and communities as we provide many services to Arkansans.
