Mary Beth is responsible for the overall operations and management of Argenta CDC and carrying out the organizations mission as set forth by the board of directors.

She has has vast and demonstrated experience and achievement in community development, project management, legislative, construction, urban infrastructure, affordable housing and economic development. Prior to joining the CDC, she was the director of North Little Rock’s Community Development Agency where she managed local, state and federal programs for community revitalization, economic development, energy-efficient housing and asset building among low wealth households.

Mary Beth also was responsible for activities for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, an $8.5 million federally-funded housing initiative that allows for the acquisition, rehabilitation/construction and sale and rental of foreclosed and abandon properties to qualified households in selected neighborhoods in North Little Rock. 

Her senior management experience includes executive director of Arkansas Association of Chiefs Police, Arkansas Manufactured Home Commission and the Malvern Community Development Department.  She has also served a private consultant to attorneys and consumers regarding housing issues

Bowman has and continues to serve on numerous national committees including the National Community Development Association, where she is a board member and is senior vice president for the Southwest Region.  She was a founding member of Pulaski County Habitat for Humanity.  Additionally, she has been appointed to various committees by President Bill Clinton and former Housing and Urban Development Secretaries Andrew Cuomo, Jr. and Henry Cisneros.  

She has a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s social agency counseling.

Nancy is primarily responsible for accounts receivable and payable, human resources activities and serves as liaison to the organization's accounting firm and the board of directors. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a degree in graphic design and illustration.

Valerie is responsible community organizing and building in designated areas in which Argenta CDC has projects. She has more than 20 years experience television marketing and public relations. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a degree in radio, television and film.

Cathy has been with the organization for 12 years. At present, she serves as assistant project manager for Argenta Arkansas Construction where she is responsible for AP/AR, ensuring compliance and documention of real estate transactions related to NSP and HOME Funds. She provides pre-purchase counseling and education services to homebuyers. Additionally, she manages all reporting and compliances for the homeownership center.

Katie has been with Argenta CDC since 2002. For the homeownership center, Katie is responsible for the overall operations of the homeownership center.

Shanta has 20 years experience in marketing, public relations, advertising and non-profit fundraising. She is responsible for the development implementation of CDC fundraising and marketing campaigns and is the organization's grantwriter. She also handles outreach programs and promotions for the homeownership center. Shanta attended the Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and the Univesity of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Brian is responsible for the real estate development and construction projects for the organization and is also the general contractor for Argenta Arkansas Construction. Brian has a background in traditional and "green" residential construction, home renovation and banking. He is a member of of the US Green Building Council and the National Association of Homebuilders. He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas at Conway and has a bachelors in banking.

Bob is responsible for overseeing the new construction and renovation of rehab properties as a part of our NSP 2 activities. He has an extensive background in construction including military and nuclear installations.
